The Haldex KN20960 (also known by the base part number N20960) is a push-pull, hand-operated air valve used for controlling the parking/emergency brakes in heavy-duty commercial vehicles. This valve allows the driver to manually engage and release the parking brake system.

Description & Purpose
Description: A bulkhead-mounted, manually operated air control valve made of durable engineering grade composite (EGC) and stainless steel internal components for corrosion resistance. It is a reliable replacement for the Bendix PP-1 valve.
Purpose: The valve controls the flow of air pressure to the spring brakes. Pushing the knob in releases the spring brakes (service brake priority ensures sufficient pressure to stop the vehicle first), and pulling the knob out applies the spring brakes for parking or emergency stops.
